This post is a spoof on the song “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s. It is one of my favorite songs of all times! I’ve loved it since my freshman year of high school and anyone close to me knows this is my favorite song. Anyways, Aaron and I rewrote the lyrics, so now it’s called

The original song really resonates with me so I was super stoked when I saw a LDR card with some of the lyrics.  My artistic skills are not so hot, but I tried my best lol. I’ll admit I practiced several times on ordinary paper before gathering up courage to do it on card stock.

I had to do-it-myself since the original said “a thousand miles” but we are only “500 miles” apart. I got the inspiration from a post on Buzzfeed. Here is a link to the original card. Of course I tweaked it to fit our situation. I thank God we are “only” 500 miles apart! I wish I could actually have the song recorded and hear what it sounds like lol.
