One way guaranteed to put a smile on someone’s face is to give them flowers. It doesn’t have to be a bouquet, it doesn’t have to be red roses, it doesn’t even have to be real flowers; it’s the thought that counts.
This is a picture of the first time my boyfriend gave me flowers back when we first started dating. The way he did it was unconventional but super cute.
We were ordering lunch and while we were waiting for our order Aaron went back to the car. He was acting sketchy and I thought it was unusual but I just brushed it off. We paid for lunch and walked back to the car. He opened the car door for me (as he has done since we started dating and still does to this day). In my seat was a bouquet of red roses! It turns out the reason he had left was to get the roses that were hidden under a blanket in the backseat and put them in my seat.

The cutest thing about this was that it was a random romantic gesture; it wasn’t our anniversary and it wasn’t my birthday. He simply did it to tell me that he loved me. It doesn’t need a special occasion to give or send your S.O. flowers. You can do it randomly and I promise you that will make their day.

Aww thanks! I admire you and your bf for making long-distance work too! Yes!!! Next May (2015) I graduate and I will be moving back home and we are going to get our own place. ❤

Awesome! Are you moving to Britain or is he moving to Canada? Or other arrangements?
I’m moving there; he still has another couple years in the army so he can’t really move at the moment. Plus all his family live there and all live close and my family and friends are now spread all over Canada so I’d feel worse making him move. I’m gonna miss the food here soo much and the people but I’m also really excited to go.
