It all started with a pencil. My boyfriend found a really nice mechanical pencil at school; it instantly became his favorite pencil. He is cute and weird like that. When he misplaced that pencil he was kinda bummed about it. So I mailed him a pair of nice mechanical pencils to replace the one he lost. The next time I went to visit him, he borrowed one of my mechanical pencils. Anyways, the next day he sent me a picture and said “look what I have”, he had kept my pencil! I thought it was cute lol.
So of course I went to my go-to place, Etsy for a cute gift. I found this place, AllOcassionsandMore that engraves anything you want on pencils. You can choose the font and color of the pencil. It might seem a little childish but I think this gift makes sense. It was super affordable too, $1 per pencil. So worth it!

I used adult language to make them a little more manly since I was afraid it was too childish of a gift. Some of the sayings are inside jokes between us and some are more romantic. The thing I love about this gift, is was it was completely personalized to our relationship. There is a reason behind every choice, from why I choose pencils to each saying engraved.
He loved his new pencils! Now he can send me drawings and write me a ton on love letters ❤
I also added this card with a math problem for him to simplify. He is a mechanical engineering major, so this math problem was super easy compared to what he normally does lol. This is how he solved it:
